    Anca is an experienced Learning and OD professional, currently in charge of Career Development Programs as part of the Microsoft Employee Skilling Team. In her work, Anca supports leaders and teams to reimagine the way we connect, work and learn. Anca creates value by co-creating human-centered experiences and learning environments that enable knowledge flows and people growth.

    Anca has previously led the Future of Work Global Practice for Citi Learning. Over her career, Anca has held various roles at Citi, such as Learning & Performance Advisor, Social Learning & Collaboration Expert, Community Builder, and 70-20-10 Change Maker.

    Brian leads Microsoft’s global internal efforts to re-imagine career development through the power of skills and a pervasive learning culture. Career and skills development will be critical in helping Microsoft deliver on its mission to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more.

    Previously, Brian was the Global Head of Learning & Enterprise Capabilities at AstraZeneca in a key moment in the company’s history as it sought to provide a global vaccine for COVID 19.

    Brian Started his career at the global Bank, Citi, where he held a number of regional and global HR Director roles. From 2014 to 2019 he was the Head of Learning and Leadership Development for Citi in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

    Laura has authored/ co-authored over 40 major research reports, and as a regular contributor to industry publications, she has written over 300 articles. She has also received several prestigious awards, among which the Learning and Performance Institute’s Colin Corder Award for outstanding achievement and the Learning Technology Award for outstanding achievement.

Since 2016, Simon has moved into the Development world and created the cross-divisional ‘Global Development University’ before progressing in September 2017 to take over the Novartis-wide Learning CoE and Novartis Universities and also define the strategy for Digital Capability Building.

    Garrick Jones co-founded The Ludic Group in 2004. He is a businessman, academic, and musician based in London. He is a Fellow at the London School of Economics and Political Science, where his research is focused on organizational decision-making, the future of learning, and creative economies. He is a Founding Partner of The Ludic Group, where his research into cloud-based transformation consulting, digital learning programs, and engagement are put into practice. Garrick is interested in how very large systems are able to transform themselves through learning and outcomes-based decision-making. Wearing his musical hat, Garrick composes for films, contemporary artists, and performances.

    Serena Gonsalves-Fersch | Global Head of Talent and Academy | SoftwareONE

    Serena is the head of Talent Management for SoftwareONE, a Learning &  Development leader, on the board of the Learning & Development Accelerator, a Fellow of the Learning and Performance Institute, & has recently completed her doctorate at Middlesex University, researching the future of learning & the L&D function in technology accelerating organizations.

    Having worked for organizations including Spencer Stuart, KPMG, Thomson Reuters, and IBM, Serena has a wealth of experience in leading learning functions for internal departments and external clients as a management consultant & as a service line lead with client/ revenue responsibility. Experience includes creating an L&D function’s business-facing strategy, the learning operating model, vendor, budget & technology management across several industries.

    As the VP of Sales EMEA at Docebo, Mike leads a team of Regional Sales Directors, AEs, AMs, and SCs to drive the growth and expansion of our cloud-based learning platform across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He has over 14 years of experience in the EdTech sector, working with corporate and educational clients to deliver innovative and effective learning solutions that improve performance and outcomes.

    Mike has an accreditation in learning technologies from the Learning and Performance Institute and is passionate about transforming the use of digital learning technologies into an everyday habit for users. He is also a published author and blogger, sharing his insights and perspectives on the latest trends and developments in the e-learning industry.

    Andy Wooler has some 25 years of global experience in the world of Learning Technologies.
    Before joining the Area9Lyceum team in 2021, he served as a Learning Strategist for a leading company in the Data and Digital Solutions space and has led learning platform projects in global Financial Services organizations. He is a regular speaker on topics such as Learning Management Systems and how to use data from learning platforms to gain actionable insights into learning activities.

    Andy is a Senior Vice President in the Product Management Team at Area9 Lyceum, focusing on helping organizations integrate Adaptive Learning solutions into their wider learning & HR ecosystems. Andy holds an MBA from the Open University and is a Fellow of the Learning & Performance Institute.
